The historic Krupp Foundry property will soon come to life as a 12-acre passive recreation community park located at 4th & Mill Streets that connects Quakertown Memorial Park and the Sports Complex, the James A. Michener Branch of the Bucks County Library, and the Quakertown Community Pool.
It will feature walking and biking trails; an amphitheater; concession stand; gazebo; open areas for picnicking, playing, and relaxing; flower meadows; a water feature or pond with fountain; and restrooms, among other amenities.
This community asset to the more than 36,500 residents of the Quakertown Regional Area (including Richland, Haycock, and Milford Townships and Quakertown, Trumbauersville, and Richlandtown Boroughs) will regularly hold public events, live music, entertainment, arts events, and more each season.
